Stereo wish list
Here is my wishlist for my stereo:
1. Manley Jumbo Shrimp preamp $2,300
2. VPI Scout II turntable $2,100

5. Manley Mahi ($2,500) or Snapper ($4,250) mono power amps

I need a BlueConsole bluetooth serial adapter. Please find me one somebody!!!!!
Music and my life
I have been frantically updating and improving my stereo system after years of being unable to enjoy it due to a fucking asshole of a neighbor whilst I was living at Chateau Orleans. I really didn't understand just how much I require music. When it was taken away from me, I slowly began to sink into a state of perpetual depression. It's as if I depend on music to exist, or at least exist in a happy state!
This neighbor was a pitiful excuse for a man. No balls at all. When I would attempt to play music, even at under 65 dB, he wouldn't come to me but instead he would call the police. They showed up many, many times but could never hear any loud, disruptive music. But after awhile, they were gonna have to fine me based on Jackass' complaints. It was at this point I moved all listening to my desk via headphones. This wasn't a great solution, but it sufficed. The neighbor got so wound up he would bang on the wall at ANY noise, even my TV! It became unbearable so I decided to move into a rental house - no more apartments. That was the best decision I could have made. The effects on my spirit, mood and outlook has improved dramatically. I feel like myself again.
