Man, what a disappointment tonight. Marion & I went to the Bottletree to see Deerhunter. OK. Should be fun, right? Instead, they spoke to us (the whole crowd) like we were morons before they would let the crowd in the door. After the long wait to get in, we found that the kitchen was closed early, which was a major disappointment. We then grabbed the only table in the place.
The first act, Deacon from Animal Collective, came onstage without introduction or any que as to his beginning the set. Also, there were NO lights on him or the stage during his performance.
Anyway, we were not have any fun so we left to get some food. Unless it is a band I must see, I'll not return to the Bottletree....
